The NHS operates a zero tolerance policy with regard to violence and abuse. Brunswick Surgery fully supports this policy to safeguard our staff, patients and visitors.

Violence in this context includes:

  • actual or threatened physical violence
  • verbal abuse which leads to fear for a person's safety

The practice has the right to remove violent patients from the list with immediate effect. In this situation, the patient will be notified in writing of their removal, and the circumstances will be recorded in their medical records.

We ask all patients and visitors to treat our staff and fellow patients with respect. We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
