If you live within our catchment area of Surbiton and nearby areas, you are welcome to register with Brunswick Surgery. Registration is free and can be completed online in around 10 minutes.

To register with Brunswick Surgery you must live within our catchment area. We have recently extended our boundary to cover a wider area — use the tool below to check whether your postcode is within our catchment.

Anyone can register with an NHS GP — you do not need proof of address, immigration status, or identification to register. However, providing these details helps us to register you as quickly as possible.
Who Can Register?
- Adults and children of any age
- UK residents and overseas visitors
- Patients without a fixed address
- Asylum seekers and refugees
If you are registering a child, a parent or guardian must complete the registration form on their behalf.
Register Online
The quickest and easiest way to register is using our online registration form. The form takes around 10 minutes to complete, and we will aim to get you registered within 2 working days.
Before you start, it is helpful to have the following to hand:
- Your NHS number (if you know it — not essential)
- Your date of birth
- Your current address and postcode
- Your previous GP's name and address (if applicable)
- Details of any regular medications
If at any point you find the online form difficult to complete, you are welcome to visit the surgery in person and a member of our team will be happy to help you register another way.
Prefer to register in person? Visit us at Surbiton Health Centre, Ewell Road, Surbiton, KT6 6EZ, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 6:30pm. No appointment needed to register.
What Happens After You Register?
Once we receive your registration form we will:
- Process your registration within 2 working days
- Contact your previous GP practice to request your medical records
- Send you confirmation once your registration is complete

New Patient Health Check
Once you are registered, you may be invited for a new patient health check with one of our healthcare assistants. This is a routine check that helps us understand your health needs and ensure you receive the most appropriate care.
