Brunswick Surgery offers a wide range of clinics and services to support our patients' health and wellbeing. Some clinics can be booked directly — others require a GP consultation first.

Minor Surgery
We carry out minor surgical procedures at the surgery including cryotherapy (warts, verrucas and benign lesions), small skin lesion excision, and incision and drainage. A GP assessment is required first.
Joint Injections
Corticosteroid injections for painful joints — knee, shoulder and hip. An initial GP assessment confirms suitability before an injection is arranged.
Menopause Service
Specialist menopause and perimenopause care from our two women's health GPs. Covers HRT, symptom management and contraception. Find out more →
Sexual Health Service
Confidential sexual health advice, screening and treatment — including STI testing, contraception and referrals. Speak to your GP or practice nurse.
Implant & Coil Clinic
Fitting and removal of long-acting reversible contraception: contraceptive implants (Nexplanon), IUDs and IUSs — carried out by our specially trained GPs.
Paediatric Consultant Clinic
Consultant paediatric review clinic for children requiring specialist assessment. Your GP will advise on eligibility and arrange a referral.
Mental Health Practitioner
Our mental health practitioner offers brief psychological interventions for depression, anxiety and related concerns, and can connect you with the right onward support. Resources →
Dietician
Specialist nutritional advice for patients with diabetes, weight management concerns, gastrointestinal conditions and other diet-related health needs. Referral via your GP.
Onsite Diagnostics
Available at Surbiton Health Centre: blood tests, ECG, X-ray, ultrasound, podiatry and physiotherapy — avoiding unnecessary hospital visits.
Pessary Fitting Service
Fitting and management of vaginal pessaries for pelvic organ prolapse, carried out by our trained clinical team. Speak to your GP for a referral.
Musculoskeletal Specialist
Our First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) can assess, diagnose and treat muscle, joint and bone problems — often without a GP appointment first.
Travel Vaccinations
Contact us at least 8 weeks before travel. NHS-funded vaccines include Hepatitis A, Typhoid and others depending on destination.

First Contact Physiotherapy
A First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) is an experienced physiotherapist with advanced skills who can assess, diagnose and recommend appropriate management for musculoskeletal (MSK) disorders — including back pain, joint problems and sports injuries.
FCPs can make referrals for long-term physiotherapy treatment in the community. Patients are often able to book directly without seeing a GP first.
To book a physiotherapy appointment, please use our online booking system or call the surgery on 020 8390 5321. You do not always need to see a GP first.
Stop Smoking Clinic
We run a virtual stop smoking clinic every Wednesday, 9:30am – 12:30pm. At this clinic you'll receive advice on:
- Setting a goal to reduce or stop smoking
- Techniques to help you stop
- Over-the-counter products to support your journey
- Managing cravings and withdrawal symptoms
Free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) or vapes are provided to all attendees.
Travel Vaccine Clinic
If you are travelling abroad, please contact us at least 8 weeks before your departure date to arrange any vaccinations required. Extra lead time is strongly recommended for complex itineraries or destinations requiring multiple courses.
Important: Some immunisation courses involve 4–5 appointments over a period of weeks. Please plan ahead to ensure you have full immunity before you travel.
Some travel vaccines are not available on the NHS. For these, please contact a private travel clinic.

Minor Surgery & Cryotherapy
We carry out a range of minor surgical procedures at the surgery, avoiding the need for a hospital referral.
Cryotherapy uses liquid nitrogen to freeze and remove benign skin lesions including warts, verrucas and small cysts. Quick, carried out in clinic by appointment.
Minor excision — removal of small skin lesions under local anaesthetic. Suitability is assessed by your GP before any procedure is booked.
Please book a routine GP appointment to discuss whether minor surgery is appropriate for you.
Joint Injections
Corticosteroid injections can provide significant relief from pain and inflammation in arthritic or injured joints — knee, shoulder and hip.
An initial GP assessment is required to confirm the injection is appropriate. Risks, benefits and alternatives will be discussed at that appointment.

Dr Yasmin Maki and Dr Vaishali Nathan both hold advanced qualifications in women's health and reproductive medicine. Our service covers HRT, symptom management, contraception and women's health across all life stages.

Travel Vaccinations
Please contact us at least 8 weeks before departure. Some courses require multiple appointments over several weeks.
Do not leave travel vaccines until the last minute — some courses take 4–5 weeks to complete.
NHS-funded vaccines available include Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Cholera and Polio booster. Your GP will advise on what is needed for your destination.
