Carers Advice
Non-urgent advice: Does your GP know you're a carer?
Do you look after someone who couldn't manage without you?
Many people look after friends or family who can't manage without them. This could be due to a serious health condition, disability, mental health illness, frailty, addiction or substance misuse.
Being a carer can often affect your own health but your GP can support you if they know you are caring for someone.
