The practice employs three experienced nurses who hold general nursing surgeries. They will see you for dressings, Chlamydia Screening (14-24 year olds), childhood immunisations, ear syringing, HPV immunisations, removal of sutures, blood pressure checks, dietary control, smoking cessation, new patient health checks, travel and routine vaccinations, asthma check ups and blood tests if our Health Care Assistant or Phlebotomist's appointment times, are not convenient. Between them they also run specialised appointments covering Diabetes, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Heart Disease, and Cervical Smears |

Community Midwives
The Kingston Hospital NHS Trust employs community Midwives (River Team). They run a prebookable weekly clinic at the Health Centre (first floor) on Friday mornings from 09.00 a.m. until 12.00 a.m. They provide ante-natal care for expectant mothers and post natal care. Community Nurses
Your Health Care employ our District Nurses, who are based at Hollyfield House, Hollyfield Road, Surbiton, Surrey KT5 9AL. but they visit the surgery on a daily basis. They provide nursing care for people in their own homes, nursing homes and residential homes, together with support and advice to families and carers. Patients may be referred to this service by their doctor, hospital, other agencies, or may refer themselves. They can be contacted on 020 8339 8135 |
Your Health Care employs our Community Matrons, Nick Wheatley and Lesley Bell. They can be contacted by ringing "Single Point of Access"on 020 8339 8135. Community Matrons co-ordinate health & social care for patients with complex long term conditions. By providing advanced nursing skills they aim to diagnose and treat patients within the home, thus avoiding unnecessary hospital admissions. Referrals to this service can be made by the GP or other professional agencies. |
Health Visitors
Your Health Care employ our Health Visitors, who are based at Hollyfield House, Hollfield Road, Surbiton, Surrey KT5 9AL. They are nurse specialists in family health, particularly child health, behaviour and development. They also see women for ante-natal and postnatal consultations and are able to offer support and advice on all aspects of family health and well being. They provide a "Drop In" Well Baby Clinic, every Monday, on the 1st Floor of the health centre, between 10.00a.m. and 11.45 a.m. They can be contacted on 020 8274 7719 and will see patients Tuesdat - Friday, in the Health Centre, by invitation only. |
