When We Are Closed
OUT OF HOURS
Harmoni under the name of Kingston Health on Call deputising service, care for our patients out of hours.
They can be contacted by telephoning 111.
Weekdays:- 6.30pm to 8.00am
Weekends:- 6.30pm Friday to 8.00am Monday
Harmoni employ qualified staff, who will be able to help and advise you. If you need to see a doctor, they will arrange for you to visit their Primary Care Centre, based at Kingston Hospital, at an agreed time. If you are unable to travel, a home visit by a doctor will be arranged. The very nature of the out of hours service does mean that doctors are re-prioritising home visits minute by minute, depending on the urgency of the in-coming calls. Therefore this does mean that home visits could be subject to delay.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Kingston GP Chambers is a collaboration of all the GP practices in the area and provides extra GP appointments in the evenings and weekends for patients registered at NHS Kingston practices. Also known as Extended Hours.
Evening appointments are arranged by contacting us at the practice and we will make the appointment for you at one of the three Chambers locations. (NB this service is not suitable for all types of problems.)
If you need to see a doctor at the weekend Kingston GP Chambers can be contacted for an appointment directly by phone from 8am. Please note, this is not a walk-in service and appointments need to be booked by phone to avoid disappointment on 020 3481 9942
