Routine pre-bookable 10 minute appointments are available 7.30am - 1.00pm and 2.15pm - 6.00 pm weekdays and 8.00am - 9.50am on a Saturday.

Additional appointments are available for your convenience:  

From 7:30 to 8:00 Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays.

From 18:30 to 19:20 Wednesdays.

Appointments are also available on some Saturday mornings (please phone reception).  

Please note that in order to deal with your problems in a effective and timely manner we request that you book one 10 minute appointment per problem.

If you cannot keep an appointment please cancel it as soon as possible so that it can be offered to another patient.

We are concerned about the number of patients who fail to keep their doctor or nurse appointments. This not only wastes the clinician's time but also prevents the surgery from offering the appointment to another patient. (Patients who repeatedly fail to cancel appointments may be asked to register at a different practice).

If you arrive late for your appointment, you may be asked to rebook. See practice protocol for late arrivals at the reception desk.

For routine matters please arrange to see the doctor you usually see, who will know your medical history. Try to make follow up appointments well in advance. As Monday morning is the busiest time of the week, please avoid telephoning then for non-urgent appointments.


It is our policy that patients who have an urgent problem can be seen as soon as possible. We reserve a number of appointments each day, forthese patients. It is therefore important that you do not request an urgent appointment, unless it is necessary.

Please note that you may not be able to see the doctor of your choice, when requesting an urgent appointment.

Please note emergency appointments are not available on a Saturday

PATIENT PARTNER - Automated telephone service

Patient Partner is our automated telephone service, for booking, cancelling or checking your own appointment. All you need is a touch-tone telephone, your contact telephone number and your date of birth. One of its main benefits is that you are able to telephone the surgery at any time - even when we are closed. When you telephone the surgery, select the option for the Automated Booking Service and then follow the simple instructions. Please ensure you inform us of any contact telephone number changes - i.e. home and mobile.


It is now possible to sign up for Online Services that will allow you to book GP Routine appointments with the practice on line.   This facility will also enable you to order repeat prescriptions, view test results and a brief summary of your medical record.
